Letter to Ms Rhonda FBI February 20, 2004 Dear Rhonda: Thank you so much for the opportunity you gave the children “and us adults” to tour the FBI and learn what it is all about. I myself never knew of all the different jobs, departments and duties that it entails to run the FBI. You commented that the children were well behaved today. I must credit you for a large part of this. As I am sure you are aware, if a child’s mind is kept interested in a subject, they are more apt to be well behaved. In watching the children today, I found that they were very intent with each and every aspect of the internal works of the FBI. I was not able to talk to all the kids following the tour but I can tell you the group that I brought loved the tour and talked about it the whole way home. You have a wonderful way with the children. My son especially came home and told my husband how “Cool Ms. Rhonda is.” This program is full of wonderful information for the kids. I especially liked the fact that you continued to stress the importance of education as this I am sure will be something that they will remember each and every day in school. I would also like to thank each and every person that took the time to explain their job, duties and how they feel about what they do for a living. This is another thing that I felt was wonderful, not stressing the importance of pay as much as the importance of enjoying what you do in making a career choice. Once again, thank you for your time and the time of all. Again, this is a wonderful program that I truly feel will encourage children to do their best in school so that they are able to move on as adults in the field of their choice.
