A Christian band called BARREN CROSS in the late 80's early 90's made there mark with the album titled STATE OF CONTROL. This album is the best they ever did, the songs are very hard aswell as melodic, mike lee the former singer of the band has a voice that would put alot of singers to shame! This band craps all over stryper and alot of other bands i won't go into. Mike lee has a new band and lives in france, the bands style is very different than what mike lee was into but still has a great voice but uses it in a different style. Sting became so popular just like the ultimate warrior he had problems that he couldn't deal with so the great wrestler with a great style ended his career to get rid of the demons and took a new path a born again christian thank god he didn't kill himself with drugs like alot of wrestlers! This band was sucessful till bad luck struck the guitarist life ended in a car crash which was caused by another motorist who was drunk! Then some years later criss's wife ended her life. The singer of the band was Jon Oliva they are brothers, by any chance Jon is reading this our hearts are with you and we the savatage fans will never forget a great guitarist your brother criss oliva . Criss style was very different but i did notice a bit similar to george lynch which i really loved those styles, very melodic and like the guitar playing is singing to you ! They should have recongize his great guitar playing ages ago along with other greats.I have bootleg videos and dvd's just to see criss in action > R.I.P. criss ! We will never forget you !!!
