Butterfree had their mating season when it was warm out. They'd fly away together towards the horizon, laying eggs over the ocean. But fire types also had mating seasons when it was warm. When the Butterfree had cleared, every fire type would emerge from the forests to the shoreline to mate. They'd arrive in groups of what they were. A group of Ninetales, a group of Charmeleon, a group of Charizard, a group of Vulpix, a group of Magmar, a group of Magby, ect. Then they split up.
A tough little Charmeleon spotted a cute little Magby. A Charizard found another Charizard. Then there was the Vulpix. He spotted a Ponyta, whose frame flared with gorgeous flames. It ended everyone having a mate. After the large get-together with all the fire pokemon, they started back to their new homes to start a new family. The Vulpix introduced himself as ShapeShifty, and the Ponyta Arrie. Each fire type lived in peace with their new mate.
