The team of Sutton High Reserves itself was created in 2004, but the root for this team came from the team of Mead Youth formed all the way back in 1994. So therefore the majority of our players have played with each other for some time now, including 4 players that have played together for over 10 years now. It is true to say that our first season hasn't been the best but there are sooooo many positives to take from it. We are a smaller team physically but on the pitch we look as goos as any team on the pitch. Also it is true to say that we can easily challenge for promotion to division 9 next season as we have shown in 95% of our games that we are a very good even if we have lost. This season also has shown us that even when we play the best teams in the league we can still come out looking the better side!!! So, this season has been a chance for us to see what we can expect next season and the things that we can improve on to gain promotion next season.

After a great performance against the Irish.... er Kingston Cosmos, Sutton High came away 4-2 victorios!! This week with the return of several key players we face the same team at home. It will not be an easy game as a lower placed side like Sutton did make the higher place side of Cosmos look pretty rubbish! So they will be out for revenge, but i am sure that the lads can put in another great performance like last and show the teams in the league we aint here just for fun and we mean buissness!!! Come on the SuttonHigh!!!!!!!!! |
