A site dedicated to our father,
Jesus Christ, our Lord!
Hi everybody! How are you? Good, I hope! Well, my name is Melissa Bell. I am a 15 year old female who lives in a small town near Huntsville, Alabama. I go to a small church in Elkmont, Alabama, called Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. I have been going there for almost four years. I recieved the precious gift of the Holy Ghost in October of 96. I was baptized when I was just a little girl in a chuch in Tenneessee called Full Gospel. I didn't really know what being baptized meant it just looked fun! I love the Lord with my whole heart. He has given me so many blessings and he has answered so many of my prayers. The Lord is so wonderful. He is with you when you are on the top of the largest mountain and he is with you when you are in the deepest valley. I want to tell everybody about my heavenly father. It is the least I can do for him after all the things he has done for me. Well, not only me but you too.
He died for us, he was beaten for us, he was stoned for us, ect. My point is if he can do this the least we can do is live for him and give him praise.
More than a history-changing event, the resurrection of Jesus Christ released the life-giving force the regenerates every believer into a newness of life. The Apostle Peter wrote: "Blessed be the god and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance in corruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you" (1 Peter 1:3-4) Unfortunately, paganism has left its influence upon the fundamental teaching of the resurrection. We need to use every opportunity to assert again the simple but significant account of our Lord's resurrection. Easter is about the most wonderful gift that has ever been given to man. Our Lord and Savior presented himself as the Lame of God. The resurrection was essential. (Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised agian for our justification. Romans 4:25)
"And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins" (1 Corinthians 15:17)
"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth" (Colossians 3:1-2) If you have any questions or comments about religion or my site please e-mail me.
