| Metallica vs Napster? You heard me tell you about the great music sharing software now popular known as napster. Everyone lovers napster right? Wrong! metallica has filed a lawsuit against Napster after Lars Ulrich (drummer) brought in 65 (or something like that) boxes to napster HQ of people's napster names who have traded at least one metallica song. As of may 1st those people have been kicked off permenantly from napster. After seeing Metallica's Feasco, rapper Dr. Dre decided to legal action of his own. Except instead of taking off people who traded napster he would put a ban on the 36 songs he said were being illegally traded so no one could download them. Now another rapper eminem hasn't taken legal action but is furious after he had to rush his new album the "Marshall Mathers LP" because a local radio station played a song off of his new album "The Real Slim Shady" which he had allegidly gotten off of napster. Now not everyone hates napster. Bands like Kitti, The grateful dead and limp bizkit love napster. Napster is sponsering a free tour of Limp Bizkit's due to kick off early this summer. Fred and Wes love napster and think that is a great concept and they do not think that this will ruin Recording industries. What do you think? E-mail me.
