Wecome to the Indigo Kids website! I have learned about this fascinating topic through my reading and research, and I wanted to create a site where I could share what I've learned. The term "Indigo" is derived from the indigo-coloured aura that surrounds this new generation, which began to be born around 1978. These individuals are highly intuitive (even psychic), extremely intelligent (though their grades in mainstream education might not show it), and very strong-willed. It has been prophesized that the Indigo kids will sweep into all areas of society, tearing down systems which are based on lies and corruption, leaving the way clear for a new society to form. The newest generation--Crystals--which entered onto the scene around 1995, will be the major light force that will create a higher society on earth. I hope you enjoy your stay as you learn about this amazing transformation that is already in progress, and brace yourself, because it looks like the world is in for a major overhaul! |

There are lots of Indigo kids out there, and waves of special children are being born every day and in every country! In just a few short years Indigos will be entering into all levels of society, and an Indigo Revolution will begin. Due to the Indigo's strong intuition and inability to tolerate lies and corruption, present societal systems will begin to crumble. Our political, educational, health, and social systems will experience major changes--for the better! As an Indigo, when I think of this revolution, I see a Wave of Blue Waters that will flow through the world, washing away negativity and leaving everything crystal clear! |

Headstrong
Creative, with an artistic flair for music, jewelry making, poetry, etc.
Prone to addictions
An "old soul," as if they're 13, going on 43
Intuitive or psychic, possibly with a history of seeing angels or deceased people
An isolationist, either through aggressive acting-out, or through fragile introversion
Independent and proud, even if they're constantly asking you for money
Possesses a deep desire to help the world in a big way
Wavers between low self-esteem and grandiosity
Bores easily
Has probably been diagnosed as having ADD or ADHD
Prone to insomnia, resless sleep, nightmares, or difficulty/fear of falling asleep
Has a history of depression, or even suicidal thoughts or attempts
Looks for real, deep, and lasting friendships
