| Why the Bengal Tiger is Endangered |
 |
There arent very many Bengal tigers left in the wild. It is estimated that there are only about 3,000 to 5,000 left in the wild. What if that happened to us. The whole civilization ruined. If we dont start saving animals now we have no hope of the Earth living to its whole life capacity. All the animals are an important part of the food chain. And the food chain is an important part of our lives. I have heard that each day one species of animals becomes extinct.
Take the Bengal tiger. The Bengal tiger is endangered because people shoot for their fur. It is beautiful fur. But it is not one of our every day needs. People dont need to race of with guns shooting the poor animals to death because of their coat. It seems the Bengal tiger is at a slight disadvantage because their coats are so gorgeous.
It is also endangered because we are destroying its natural habitat. We cut down trees that have once lived themselves. And theres no excuse for that either. There are lots of substitutes for wood. And there is always plastic. Its cheap, reliable and cant break unless you apply lots of force.
So what this all sums up is that we, the people, are ruining the hope of the Bengal tiger ever existing for longer than another 200 years. Even if you do kill wild animals, shooting them? Surely you can find a more humane of ruining an animals life.
As you may of guessed I love animals. And I dont like it how we are just standing there, doing nothing to help when there are many things that we could be doing such as donating money, fundraise money etc.
I know a lot of you care but some people, sick people, actually enjoy killing animals for a living. They have done nothing to hurt us, so why are we hurting them? |
