There are many types of squirrels such as the gray

squirrel,ground squirrel, flying squirrel, and the tree squirrel.

Also what some people dont know is the flying squirrel does not

 fly it glides.

Squirrels start mateing late december or early January and it takes

about 45 days to the birth of the baby squirrels.Most squirrels are

 born in Febuary or March.Late mateings are born April to even

August.They can have 1 to 8 babies in a litter.The most common for

 them to have is 1 to 2 at a time.Then they come out of the nest 7 to 8

weeks later.
