Camp Meeting 2005 went great. Alot of children had fun, many made new friends, learned new songs, learned new things about our religion, met new people, went to lots of free concerts, and much more! Sound interesting? Be sure to get a phone book and look up the Ohio Conference of Seventh Day Adventists and ask for "Regristration for Camp Meeting 2006". It's not expensive, and it's really fun. "I hated to see this years Camp Meeting go so fast, I can't wait until next year." said a 12 year old from Ohio. Each Camp Meeting is held at Mount Vernon Academy Campus. You can rent big tents, rent a nice dorm, rent a lot for your own tent, or rent a lot for your own trailer or camper. Where ever you stay you are sure to have a great time. Adults get free tickets to popular gospel concerts, and children and teenagers have their own class rooms that they are bound to have fun in. Camp Meeting 2005 had 6 different classrooms for teenagers and children. One was beginners (for infants and toddlers), another was Kindergarten (for children in kindergarten), Primary (for children ages 7-10), Juniors (for preteens ages 10-12), Early Teens (for new teens ages 13-15), and Youth (for young adults ages 16-18). Each class is great and all of them do fun things, such as this year the Early Teens went to Geauga Lake for a few bucks a person and had a blast. The younger classrooms such as the Primary and Junior went swimming at Camp Mohaven/Hiawatha Swiming pool for free. Everyone had a blast. The adults had a great time too. Everyone got a free dinner at Camp Mohaven, the women had a free lunch at the Women's Tea Meeting, and much more! Come for Camp Meeting 2006, you'll love it! |
