| I first met Becky Thanksgiving, 2002. Thanksgiving 2003 she is no longer with us. She is yet another victim of cystic fibrosis, a disease endured by approximately 30,000 children and young adults in the U.S. 1,000 new cases are diagnosed each year, usually in children three or under and the average life span for an individual with CF is 31 years. It is too late now for Becky, who succumbed at the young age of 17, yet there are those who can be saved through your generous support. Thanks to research done by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org), contolling the disease seems more possible with each passing day. |
